1.人被滚汤烫过，以后吃冷菜也要吹一下。羹，滚汤;韲，细切的肉菜，冷食品。比喻戒惧过甚。语出《楚辞．九章．惜诵》:"惩于羹者而吹韲兮，何不变此志也？"

1. When someone has been scalded by boiling soup, even when eating cold dishes later, they still blow on it. Soup, boiling broth; qi, finely chopped meat or vegetables, cold food. Metaphorically describes excessive caution. From "Chu Ci: Nine Chapters: Cherishing Recitation": 'Cheng yu geng zhe er chui qi xi, he bu bian ci zhi ye?'
