沟壑：山沟。念念不忘为正义而死，弃尸山沟。形容有为正义献身的思想准备。也比喻人发迹之后不忘过去贫贱的日子。

明 瞿汝稷 《指月录》卷二三：“ 金陵 清凉 泰欽法燈禪師 在衆日，性豪逸，不事事，衆易之。 法眼 獨契重， 眼 一日問衆：‘虎項金鈴是誰解得？’衆無對。師適至， 眼 舉前語問，師曰：‘繫者解得。’”后因用“繫鈴解鈴”比喻谁惹出来的问题由谁去解决。 清 昭槤 《啸亭杂录·王述庵书》：“倘執事以繫鈴者解鈴，則日月之更，民皆仰之矣。”《黄绣球》第五回：“我不妨和他見了面，窺察他的神氣語意，如果事由他起，則繫鈴解鈴，原須一人。”
