佛家用语，意思是对一生命运归宿看得开，无牵挂，超凡出世。亦指安身的地方。

形容举动慌乱，心神不定。

指像鱼腐烂鸟溃散。比喻迅即崩溃，完全失败。

比喻志向不合或表象不同。

Bamboo and cypress have different intentions

追求细枝末节，舍弃事物根本的、主要的部分。

Chase the branches and abandon the root

志向相同，思想一致。

Comrades in agreement on the path

比喻由于偶然的机缘而有富贵贫贱的不同命运。亦多指女子堕落风尘。同“飘茵堕溷”。

Float on the mattress and follow the muddy water

充类：推究同类事理；至尽：到极精密处。指就事理作充分的推论。

deduct to the very last number

风中住宿，水上吃饭。形容行旅的艰苦。 明 邵璨 《香囊记·题诗》：“烟波萬里誰爲伴，忘機數點白鷗閒，東西没牽絆，風宿水餐。”亦作“ 風宿水飡 ”。 明 梁辰鱼 《月儿高·纪情》套曲：“念芳卿心專意堅，儘他人海移山變，任飄流風宿水飡，料隨處姓揚名顯。” 明 张凤翼 《虎符记》第十四折：“如今抱你來風宿水飡，不道你提抱之年也歷盡人間行路難。”

比喻有话或苦衷说不出。同“哑子做梦”。

比喻前程远大。

Wings of a roc spanning ten thousand miles

比喻无偶或失偶者对命运的伤悼。

舛：违背，不相合。时运不顺，命运不佳。指处境不顺利。

Times are unfavorable and fortunes misaligned

施行文教，振奋武事。

Plan in civil matters, act in military matters

做事认真踏实，不虚浮。

Standing firmly on solid ground

呼气与吸气，朴素贯通。比喻认识一致，利害相关。

指按道理必定如此。

Inevitable by reason

指对人或对事物顷注了很深的感情，向往而不能克制。同“一往情深”。

Single-minded and deep

隙：裂缝。指小小的裂缝可以使整个船只沉没。比喻小差错能酿成大灾害。
